We are in the middle of February (already!) which means that other than the thrill of fashion week in New York City it's still pretty much colorless and dreary around these parts. The kiddies are off from school this week for something know as ‘mid-winter recess vacation’... isn't that some kind of oxymoron?

We are just gonna pretend it's summer with this little flash back.

Wreckless Love = Breakfast Club.

So what do the phrases "wreckless love" and "breakfast club" have in common? 

Nothing really, except that for months, I errounsly thought that the title lyrics to the A.Keys song "wreckless love" was actually "breakfast club".  My version went like this.

baby , let's go

to that breakfast club

That crazy love, that I don't care

We can do it anywhere 

Kind of love

That breakfaaaast club. 

Make sense? No.

True story? Yes.

Backyard Couture. The Photos.

July 19,2008. The 2nd installment of Backyard Couture was Grrrrrrrrrreat-Tony the Tiger Style-! The joint was literally packed from sidewalk to yard and by the end of the night over 400 folks had rolled through. Check for the next and final Backyard Couture of the season on August 16.

Bringing The Heat.

AYo... This past Saturday @ Harriet's was HOT. And not just because it was 90 plus degrees outside! The All-Star line up was crazy!

Nola Darling was sooo on point, Malene Younglao's performance was ridiculous (did yall see her shoes?..whoa!),the food was amazing, the Dirty Lemonade (served up by our resident bartender Kitty Hawk) was a crowd pleaser, the great designers, the dope photographers... ahhhh I could go on for days re-capping.

Head of The Class

Here are some photos from the 3rd installment of "The Class Reunion" - guest hosted by us and the funk punk band Sweetie. The "reunion" was held at the lovely neighborhood hot spot Frank White (St. James & Atlantic...BK Allday!) - b.t.w They've got the yummiest vegan chocolate chip cookies!

Our boy FREE aka"Blackocaine of the Ahficonados" kept the party grooving. And YOU Guys & Gals were beautiful as always!
